Wilburne was grounded in church from a tender age, but when he reached the age of eleven, his family elected to let him join his church choir. Continuing to improve on his raw talent, he also joined his school and the national youth choirs in his country. Wilburne's passion for music continued to blossom as he grew, and as a teenager he began composing his own songs. From that time Wilburne’s love for God and music brought him to the realization of becoming a gospel artiste.

In late 2009, Wilburne commenced his journey as a solo artiste when he recorded his very first single, "Wannah Know". Since then, he has continued keeping the dream alive by recording numerous songs at various studios in his country. Along with that, he can be seen in a total of seven music videos, two of which he is featured in. In a newspaper article in his country in May 2011, Wilburne expressed that his "main goal as a gospel artiste is to give praises to the Most High, and to make it an enjoyable experience for listeners whilst communicating the messages through music". Growing in popularity by the day, Wilburne continues to use his talent, perseverance and faith in God to capture the hearts of many. He is now becoming more popular in his region and is prepared to make his mark internationally.

On the local stage in St. Lucia, Wilburne has sung at weddings, funerals, and several concerts including the 2011 1000 Man’s March, 4 times at the National Community Foundation Telethon (2011, 2017, 2018, 2019), Voices on the Bay Jazz in 2017, twice at Jazz in the Yard (2018 and 2019) to name a few. Wilburne also sang on cruise ships as the lead vocalist in a band from 2014-2015. From 2015 to 2020, Wilburne sang in the hotel circuit in his country in a duo, trio, and bands. In 2018, Wilburne sang at the home coming of one of St. Lucia’s prominent athletes, Lavern Spencer in April at the Derek Walcott Square.  a 16-track album that included some songs Wilburne released from the beginning of his solo career. Subsequently, Wilburne hosted a listening party to launch the album at the Tapas on the Bay in Rodney Bay in August. After the event, Wilburne donated some of the proceeds to the Holy Family’s Children Home in Ciceron.

On February 22 2019, St. Lucia celebrated its 40th Independence anniversary. To mark such an pertinent milestone, a theme song called "We're All In" was written for the nation by one of St. Lucia's prominent musicians, Ronald "Boo" Hinkson. Wilburne was one of the three artistes selected to sing this theme song. He later appeared in a music video for that song and performed it live at a diplomatic meeting, at the prime minister’s ball and in front of His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Prince of Wales. During that year, he also sang at the nation’s Independence 40 Gospel Concert.

Continuing to live out the dream, Wilburne was planning to host his second event in March 2020 to help fund his upcoming album and to help a young man in need. However, it was postponed due to the global pandemic, COVID 19. Although this crisis delayed the event, Wilburne began to sing covers of gospel songs with local and regional gospel artistes to try to bring hope. The artiste sang with Kelvin Daniel and Elra Ermay of St. Lucia, Horenzo Chambers and Marvin Finn of Jamaica, Joshua Joe of Guyana and more. During that time as well, Wilburne teamed up with a fellow artiste from Florida, J None, to create a song of hope during the pandemic entitled “Get Through This”. This song was geared at showing appreciation to the front-liners in the battle against the deadly virus and towards fighting racial injustice. Half of the proceeds from the song went towards the front-liners in Florida as well as the Black Lives Matter Movement. This song didn’t go unnoticed as Wilburne received international recognition by news outlet NBC 6 where he was interviewed. Subsequently, Wilburne was interviewed at local TV stations.

In addition, Wilburne continued delivering his high quality performances at concerts virtually. These performances were at Bethel's Praise A-thon, The Agape Telethon hosted by the Alexander family Foundation, and the launch of local gospel artiste Carlton "Mellow D" Brown at the Redemption Concert. Wilburne was also one of the five local singers chosen to sing a song for a national relief initiative called, Recover Saint Lucia.

In 2021, Wilburne began the year by releasing another song of encouragement to the world, "Miracle Worker". This song aims to remind people that God is a miracle working God and is still in control despite the crisis. 50% of the song proceeds are being donated to the Alexander Family Foundation to aid them in their valiant strides to care for the less fortunate during these times of hardship. This song has been on rotation at local radio stations, and Wilburne was also interviewed to enlighten others to support the endeavour. Miracle Worker went on to being nominated by the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards for Outstanding Black Gospel Arrangment and Outstanding Instrumental Track.

With continued perseverance, faith in God, and love for his fellow men, Wilburne is determined to continue on his journey to become a world renowned gospel and inspirational artiste.
